Melania Trump: Has her signature been forged by her husband? By Geniusofdespair

In a fundraising letter Melania Trump sent to my friend in New York, it appears the signature is forged. What do you think?

Donald Trump's Signature

Apparently others have also been struck by the similarity.  Here is what a handwriting expert said:

Well, Yahoo spoke to handwriting expert Sheila Kurtz, who was, quite frankly, amazed.

She has been studying Donald's handwriting for years reportedly, and this was her response to seeing Melania's own signature,

'Hers looks just like his, which is absolutely amazing.'

Amazing? To be honest we thought it might be normal for people in relationships to gain certain similarities - they have been a couple for 19 years after all (12 of them married).

Apparently not, Kurtz explained that this was probably coordinated,

'This is stylized. Maybe they brought someone in to show her how to do it or [it's] a stamp, but it is definitely stylized.'

That seems fair considering how many things she probably has to sign everyday.

So Melania has been coached on how to sign her name.

Read this paragraph and let it sink in. By Geniusofdespair

...The problem facing America runs much deeper than Trump’s personal awfulness. One of our two major parties appears to be hopelessly, irredeemably corrupt. And unless that party not only loses this year’s election but begins losing on a regular basis, America as we know it is finished. - Paul Krugman (read the entire column)

Has that sunk in? Do I have to put a big black box around it? My heart is beating rapidly. What he said has taken me to a place I never wanted to go. Why? Because I believe it is true.

Who is Paul Krugman you might ask. Here is his bio in the New York Times:

Paul Krugman joined The New York Times in 1999 as an Op-Ed columnist. He is distinguished professor in the Graduate Center Economics Ph.D. program and distinguished scholar at the Luxembourg Income Study Center at the City University of New York. In addition, he is professor emeritus of Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School.

In 2008, Mr. Krugman was the sole recipient of the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences for his work on international trade theory.

Mr. Krugman received his B.A. from Yale University in 1974 and his Ph.D. from M.I.T. in 1977. He has taught at Yale, M.I.T. and Stanford. At M.I.T. he became the Ford International Professor of Economics.

Mr. Krugman is the author or editor of 27 books and more than 200 papers in professional journals and edited volumes. His professional reputation rests largely on work in international trade and finance; he is one of the founders of the “new trade theory,” a major rethinking of the theory of international trade. In recognition of that work, in 1991 the American Economic Association awarded him its John Bates Clark medal. Mr. Krugman’s current academic research is focused on economic and currency crises.

You Must Watch this Again! Jon Stewart. By Geniusofdespair

Maybe even more relevant than it was in 2016....especially the references to Guilliani.

If you are lazy move it to 10 minutes it is excellent.

Angry with the world and....Read on, it might be you too! By Geniusofdespair

From the New Yorker Magazine

I will never be the same. NEVER

My life with therapy taught me two lessons: don’t minimize and don’t deny: in other words be truthful with yourself. As a child I had become adept at lying to me to cope. Can’t do it anymore.

The way my country is going and the blinders on many of the people in the country is having a devastating effect on me. The truth hurts.

For example, one tiny example: the Everglades-Trust pushing hard in support of Trump’s pick for Governor — it is just too disgusting, too vile. If DeSantis gets in he will do everything Trump wants. I think Putnam will be equally as bad but at least he won't be in bed with the loony bin.

Am I destined to leave this world to your GRANDCHILDREN, with polluted water, reduced animal species, a toxic Supreme Court, crushing debt and xenophobia run wild? Will my generation be the Nazis of the 21st Century?

Nice to wake up and find this rushing to mind. They say “stay in the present” as a means to heal... and I laugh.

How did the Everglades Trust get pulled into this? Read on...

Lying Donald Trump's Approval Rating. By Geniusofdespair

Lying Trump is so concerned with his approval rating, I decided to see how it averages out:

90% of all polls are expected to fall within the lighter color.

Rubio's Trump Score:

Even Ted Cruz didn't rate this bad: His Trump Score was 91.3%

When I was a little girl...By Geniusofdespair

When I was very young  I learned about Hitler. I saw movies, my parents talked about him. I just learned about how evil he was and I remember him standing in front of military parades with that salute. And, now Trump wants military parades.

Hitler with Tanks Parading by
Hitler at a Military Parade
I didn't wonder about Hitler. I knew enough that their were evil leaders. As a child, what I couldn't accept was that the German people could follow Hitler, an evil man. Even then I thought to myself: "How could people be so stupid."

Sigh...long sigh...

and then we fast forward to today - more than 60 years after Hitler. I am again thinking: How could people be so stupid? But they are.  Maybe 40% of the country support our wacky President and believe his tall tales. There is a cop profiled in today's newspaper - North Miami Beach Officer Ericson Harrell.

Ericson Harrell is that stupid. Yet, he is considered "an above average officer" according to police spokeswoman Major Kathy Katerman.

Ericson believes that the Parkland kids are actors coached by others. He believes 9/11 was an "Inside Job" He questions the Sandy Hook massacre of all those children. The scary part is, he is a person with a high powered rifle and he is really stupid. And, there are plenty more of these gullible people who eat up Fox News stories and whatever else they can find on the internet. I have been reading Facebook posts of former Military and other police officers as scary as Ericson Harrell.

Just as I could not answer the stupidity question of the people supporting Hitler, I cannot answer the stupidity question of supporters of Donald Trump. So here we are in crazy world -- again.

Stupid People just Keep Procreating
...and Procreating

I couldn’t resist including this quote from Kurt Stone:

"Of all the historic, mind-numbing changes which '45 has brought to the position of president, perhaps none has been as unutterably dangerous as his attack upon the press; of whittling down American's faith in what used to be called the truth. Oh sure, most every POTUS has carried on love/hate relationships with at least a portion of the fourth estate in public; it goes with the territory. But what has never before occurred is having a president so denigrate and disparage a majority of the media (read: "non-Fox," "non-Sinclair") as to transmogrify it into the ultimate enemy - a traitorous purveyor of malignant falsehoods. In the span of a mere fourteen-and-a-half months, the President of the United States has essentially out-Orwelled George Orwell: he has turned falsehood into fact, fact into non-existence and sin into virtue."

Change of topic but not really...I wrote this in 2014, before Trump was even around:

Stupid Steve. By Geniusofdespair

I once worked with a guy named Stupid Steve in an architecture office - he did drafting. Yes, I called him that to his face "Stupid Steve" and he didn't seem to mind. He was not stupid IQ wise just in life's lessons.

His most famous quote was: "Hitler ain't a bad guy." Why did he kill all the Jews, he said "To prevent them from starving." Steve was of German ancestry, no surprise there. He had many other stupid beliefs about the Nazis. No matter how I tried I couldn't change his mind...sort of like some of you readers. I learned from Steve some things are futile. It would be like trying to convince Anthony Verdugo to accept a gay person's rights.

Anyway, Steve was always amusing. I asked him once to name one Supreme Court judge and he said: "What is the Supreme Court?" I said "Do you vote Steve"? When he said no, I said "that is very smart of you." He was very proud.

Fortunately, I lost touch with Stupid Steve. I hope he isn't bringing up children.

The Trump Outlet Website: Get your Trump Junk. By Geniusofdespair

$19.99 at the Trump Outlet, $10.99 at Walmart, and $1.99 on Ebay

I am really intrigued by the Trump Outlet. Where is the money going for all this overpriced Trump gear? Charity? I calculate they have sold almost 1/2 million dollars worth of ugly hats.  They charge $33 for posters.

I looked at the Trump Outlet privacy policy and found this interesting for Trump's re-election campaign, mining private information of those stupid enough to buy this stuff:
SECTION 1 - WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION?

There are circumstances where we will transfer and/or disclose your personal information to third parties. Those circumstances, subject to the limits of applicable law, are as follows:

Subsidiaries, Corporate Partners, Vendors, Clients and Affiliates: The Trump Outlet may transfer personal information to its Subsidiaries, Corporate Partners, Vendors, Clients and Corporate Affiliates for purposes related to The Trump Outlet service offerings as such offerings may change and develop over time.

When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address.
When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.
They mine your information even if you browse the Trump outlet, that is why you aren't getting the link. I am interested in what they are going to start sending me.

Now here is the Trump usual lie, on the Website it says "This is the exact hat you want and it costs half the price of everything else you'll find." Not true. It is $19.99 here at Trump's Outlet but $1.99 on Ebay and $10.99 at Walmart.

Got your hat already? How about a $23.00 Build the Wall mug or gun owner's T Shirt?

Here is a banner for other products you can get at the Trump Outlet, note "Guns" and "Lock her Up" gear.

Best of all if you add this code you get a  10% discount:

What??? Are they out of their mind.

Build that Wall Donald. By Geniusofdespair

It sounded like Donald Trump, your President, was talking about the Flying Wallendas when observing the different wall proto-types in California. No, he was talking about those Mexicans and other immigrants who he supposed had the skills of the Flying Wallendas to get over the proposed wall.

All of those horrible immigrants with thoughts of doing harm to all of us, by perhaps getting a job picking fruit on a farm or wiping your babies ass.

Of course, there was a rally at the wall site and people were wearing those annoying red hats. I wondered, who is making all those red hats. It appears that Donald Trump is!

Now here is the Trump usual lie, on the Website it says "This is the exact hat you want and it costs half the price of everything else you'll find." Not true. It is $19.99 here on Trump's page but $1.99 on Ebay and $10.99 at Walmart.

Back to the wall,  frankly The Donald is right. If zombies can scale a wall so can Mexicans by stepping over each other like they did in  the movie World War Z. Welcome to Berlin 1961 everyone.

This Trump guy is so UN-PRESIDENTIAL, more like a a Carnival Barker in my view.
